BAMF-NESS before DAMSEL-NESS

BAMF BABES will be a vlog series highlighting the most nuanced female characters in games, movies, TV, and other mainstream forms of entertainment. I plan on focusing on characters who do not conform to stereotypes and manage to control their own destiny or at least attempt to without major interference from other characters.  Of course working in a team isn’t inherently bad and some of the characters I plan on highlighting in my vlog will be a part of a team or duo, the important part is that they are on par with their counterparts.

I plan on focusing on characters from all possible genres because being a BAMF is not solely restricted to blowing things up or punching people in the face. While it would also be easy for me to comprise the list with characters I personally find outstanding I am open to suggestions and will pick characters that some people might agree with and others may not. I believe a heathly discussion about these topics might help us better understand how to create well-rounded female characters overall.
